Army organised free veterinary camp in Sonamarg

SRINAGAR, JULY 28 (PTK): Army organized one day free veterinary camp at Sonamarg town in distt Ganderbal on 28 July 2018. The main aim of this veterinary camp was to cater the requirement of Locls and the floating population migrating annually for Poonch and Rajouri from sustenance of their livestock.

A total of 350-400 animals were treated during the camp by the team of expert army and civil veterinary doctors of distt Ganderbal. Veterinary Camp Was organized by army to give maximum benefit to Gujjars and Bakarwals community who have been deprived from the basic veterinary facilities for their animals.

Gujjars and bakarwals appreciated the veterinary camp organized by the Army. Good refreshment and food was also provided as these people had come from far floating Deras. (PTK)
