Army helps locals in dousing off fire

Srinagar March 21 (PTK) At least four residential houses were damaged in a fire incident in Kupwara district on Monday.

Sources said that fire broke out in residential house and in no time it engulfed more houses after which fire and emergency officials reached to spot.

They said that besides that 41 RR also rushed to the spot and helped locals in controlling fire.

Locals thanked army for timely action and demanded compensation for the affected families as well.

Officials said that cause of fire is said to be short circuit. (PTK)
