Army conducts adventurous programme for wangat students.

Ganderbal Nov, 23 (PTK) Wangat COB conducted an adventurous programme for students of Wangat higher secondary school which was highly anticipated by the locals

An official said that in continuous efforts of Wangat COB of 24 RR organised a camping cum picnic for the students of Wangat Higher Secondary School.

He said that the picnic cum camping activity was planned for the students who have recently completed their exams and were given the opportunity to let off their steam through fun, games, stories all mixed with little bit of adventure.

According to PTK, He further added that the students were also taught with the basic camping skills of tent pitching, cooking, making of bivouac for emergency. The students showed great spirit of adventure and readiness to learn the skills.

Local populace of Wangat and surrounding villages hailed the Army for organising such programmes in the vicinity that encourages people to participate in Adventure activities.(PTK)
