Altaf Bukhari’s mother passed away; Nimaz-e-Jinaza to be offered at Ladoora

SRINAGAR, July 6: Syeda Hafeeza Begum wife of prominent industrialist and businessman Syed Mohammad Iqbal Bukhari and mother of PDP senior leader and former Finance Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari passed away today at her home in Sheikhbagh Srinagar.

After a brief spell of illness, the deceased left for heavenly abode today morning. She will be laid to rest at family’s ancestral graveyard at Ladoora in Rafiabad in Baramulla district.  Nimaz-e-Jinaza of the deceased will be offered at Ladoora-Rafiabad at 3 pm today. According to family sources the Chahrum of the deceased will be observed on July 9 at Ladoora.

Known for her piety and philanthropic nature, the deceased was an embodiment of values and had dedicated her life to caring for the destitute and people in distress.  (PTK)
