*J&K to Receive Light Rains and Snow for the Next Two Days:*

Srinagar December 07 (PTK) Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rains and snow across Jammu and Kashmir over the next two days. The change in weather is attributed to a western disturbance that is currently affecting the region.

Light snow is expected in higher reaches, including Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonamarg. The plains may witness light rain and snow flurries.

Light rainfall is likely, especially in areas close to the Pir Panjal range, while higher altitudes may experience snow.

Sporadic snowfall is expected in higher-altitude areas such as Drass and Temperature Drop: Day and night temperatures are likely to decrease by 2-4°C, bringing a chill to the region:- (PTK)
