3 Soldiers, Police Officer Injured in Ongoing  Kulgam Operation

Srinagar, September 28: Three army soldiers and a police officer were injured during an ongoing encounter with militants in the Adigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.

A senior police official confirmed that the injuries occurred during the initial exchange of fire between the militants and security forces. The injured soldiers and the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) were immediately transported to a hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.

As of the time of reporting, the operation is still underway in the area. The encounter began earlier in the day when security forces launched a search operation in response to militant activity.
