Lok Sabha Elections-2024: Two More Government Employees Disengaged for Violating MCC in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, May 22: In a firm response to the violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) guidelines, authorities in Ganderbal have disengaged two additional government employees today.
An official order announced that Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, son of Mohammad Sidiq Khan, residing in Hari Ganiwan and employed as a CPW in GHSS Hari Ganiwan, has been disengaged from service with immediate effect. This action follows directions received from the Nodal Officer MCC, Ganderbal.
Similarly, Shabir Ahmad Rather, son of Mohammad Sidiq Rather, from Kangan, employed as a CPW in GHSS Kangan, has also been disengaged immediately for violating the MCC.
Both employees were reportedly participating actively in election campaigns for a political party, directly contravening the Model Code of Conduct.
This stringent measure underscores the authorities’ commitment to maintaining the integrity of the electoral process in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
