NIA Apprehends Fugitive Linked to RSS Leader’s Murder in Kerala

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a significant breakthrough in the case of the murder of RSS leader Srinivasan in Kerala, with the arrest of a key absconding member of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). Identified as Shafeekh, the suspect had been evading authorities since the targeted killing of Srinivasan in Palakkad on April 16, 2022.

Hailing from Malappuram district, Shafeekh is believed to have played a crucial role in the PFI machinery and hit squads responsible for carrying out the heinous assassination of Srinivasan. The arrest marks a crucial development in the investigation, shedding light on the perpetrators behind the brutal attack.

The NIA’s relentless pursuit of justice underscores its commitment to upholding law and order and bringing to justice those responsible for violent crimes. The apprehension of Shafeekh sends a strong message that perpetrators of such heinous acts will not escape the long arm of the law.

The arrest also serves as a reminder of the persistent threat posed by extremist groups and the importance of coordinated efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat terrorism and safeguard the peace and security of the nation.

As the investigation continues, authorities remain vigilant in their efforts to dismantle networks involved in such criminal activities and ensure that justice is served for the victims and their families.
