Ganderbal Police Crackdown: Four Gamblers Apprehended in Ongoing Battle Against Social Crimes

The Ganderbal Police have taken decisive action. Recently, a significant breakthrough was achieved as four individuals were apprehended for engaging in gambling activities within the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal.

According to news agency Press Trust of Kashmir report , a targeted operation led by SHO PS Ganderbal Inspector Manzoor Ahmad, under the guidance of SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS and supervision of Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal, resulted in the successful apprehension of the culprits. The operation, conducted in the orchards of village Serch Bala, led to the seizure of stake money amounting to Rs. 6500/- along with playing cards from the possession of the offenders.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Javid Ahmad Sheikh, Mehraj Ud Din Shoda, Arbaz Ahmad Dar, and Mehraj Din Bhat, all residents of different localities within Ganderbal district.

In response to this development, Case FIR No. 32/2024 has been registered at PS Ganderbal, and further investigation is underway to ensure that justice is served.
