One Militant Arrested for Alleged Killing of Non-Locals in Srinagar
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have apprehended Adil Manzoor, a resident of Zaldagar in Srinagar, on charges of fatally shooting two non-local individuals in the Shalla Kadal area. According to authorities, Adil is believed to be the primary perpetrator who indiscriminately fired upon two residents from Punjab.
This tragic incident sheds light on the persisting tensions in the region and underscores the need for enhanced security measures to safeguard the lives of all individuals, regardless of their place of origin.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Momin, a single terrorist, remains at large in Srinagar. This revelation, coupled with the disclosure by the J&K Police of the presence of approximately 25 local terrorists and 25-30 foreign militants operating within the region, highlights the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and stability.
