Mehbooba Mufti condemned abductions of family members of police personnel

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31 (PTK): Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti on Friday condemned the recent abductions of family members of police personnel  in south Kashmir saying families should not become casualties.

Taking to her Twitter handle the PDP president wrote, “Militants and forces victimising each other’s families is highly condemnable and marks a new low in our situation,” she said.

She said that  families shouldn’t become casualties and made to suffer for something they have little control over.

As many as 11 people mostly family members of policemen have been abducted by suspected militants in south Kashmir. (PTK)
