Kulgam Encounter, 3 Soldiers Killed, Operation On

SRINAGAR (PTK) : Three Army personnel were killed in an encounter with militants in Hallan forest area of Damhal HanjiporaIn South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.

As per official that, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the higher reaches of the Halan forest area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that the Search Operation into a Encounter after the militants opened fire at the Security force.

In exchange of firing with terrorists, three security forces personnel were injured, the official said, adding, they succumbed during treatment, operation is going on in the area. (PTK)
