Kadfeen welcomes SC for Rahul Gandhi

SRINAGAR (PTK): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Saturday hailed the Supreme Court verdict in Rahul Gandhi’s favour terming the top court’s decision a slap on those elements who were out to choke democratic credentials of the country.

In a statement issued to News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir, Kadfeen said that Rahul Gandhi has once again emerged as the mass leader who believes in the core idea of India and strongly believes that country’s strength lies in inclusivity and plurality.

“This landmark decision reaffirms the strength and resilience of our democratic institutions and upholds the principles of justice, fairness, and equality. We commend the judiciary for its unwavering commitment to the rule of law and its crucial role in safeguarding the rights and liberties of every citizen. This verdict sets a significant precedent and reinforces our faith in the democratic values that underpin our great nation,” Kadfeen said in a statement.

He added that the Congress party reiterates its commitment to upholding the democratic values that bind diverse nation like India together. India’s democracy is built on the foundation of inclusivity, diversity, and respect for every individual’s rights.
