Rifle snatching bid foiled in Shopian, Snatcher held : Police

SRINAGAR (PTK) : The rifle snatching bid was on Thursday evening foiled at Imam Sahib area of Shopian, one accused involved in the act has been arrested.

Top police officials told News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir that, one accused namely Shahid Ahmad Dar of Trent Mohanpora tried to snatch rifle from the SOG Cop near Camp at Imam Sahib, however due to prompt action the snatching bid was foiled.

SSP Shopian confirmed the incident and said that case been registered and further investigation starts (PTK)
