DC B’pora reviews functioning of EMRS Gurez
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 19: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmad on Saturday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the functioning of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Gurez at Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
The DC on the occasion took a detailed review of facilities available at EMRS Gurez.
The meeting also discussed threadbare availability of staff and other facilities. The DC asked the CEO and others concerned to ensure presence of staff and other essential requirements at EMRS Gurez.

Dr. Owais said that the focus of Eklavya Model Residential School is both on academic education and all-round development of the students. He said EMR schools are established as quality residential schools for the promotion of education in all areas to provide quality education to students.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, SDM Gurez, CEO Bandipora and other concerned. ZEO Gurez also attended meeting through virtual mode.
