Another encounter breaks out in Shopian

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Oct 05:- An encounter broke out between security forces and militants in Molu Chitragam area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday.

An official said that a joint of team of police, Army and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched search operation in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces intensified starches towards suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter.

“Second #encounter has started in Moolu area of #Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.” Kashmir Police zone tweeted.
