Police seized illicit timber in Handwara
Press trust Of Kashmir Srinagar September 22: Police in Handwara have seized illicit timber at Bakihakar area of Handwara.
Acting on specific input regarding illicit timber lying in the premises of Showkat Ahmad Sheikh son of Gull Sheikh resident of Bakihakar, a police party of Police Station Handwara raided the particular spot and seized illicit timber approximately 13cfts. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 253/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Handwara and further investigation set into motion.
