Sarjan Barkati arrested in Shopian

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Sep 17:- Days after Moulana Abdul Rasheed Dawoodi and Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri, another popular religious preacher Sarjan Barkati has been arrested in Shopian district.
A family member of Barkati said that he was arrested by police on Saturday morning from his residence in Reban Shopian

Sarjan was crowd puller in 2016 agitation and he was released after four years of detention in October 2020 after he was arrested during the civilian uprising in the aftermath of the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani in 2016.
