5 years on, work on sanctioned road in Yachama yet to be started:- BJP leaders

Says, had there be road, damage in fire incident would have been less, will help affected families

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR GANDERBAL SEP 17:- BJP leader and Incharge Sunnia Mohammad Hafeez on Saturday said that the road which was sanctioned for Yachama in Ganderbal district is yet to be started.

He said that had there been the road, the damage in fire incident which caused huge damage in the area would have been less.

He said that even amount for construction of road was released in 2017 but work hasn’t been started yet.

He requested people not to interfere if there few feets of land is getting in construction of road as it is very important for the area especially during emergencies.

He added that BJP is with all those who got affected in the devastating fire and they will be helped.

He thanked Tehsildar and police for working generously and making efforts to minimize fire damage.

He said that bridges which were getting completed in decades are getting completed in just year or less than that.
