DC inspects progress on NH-44 four laning project in Ramban
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 31: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Ramban, Mussarat Islam today inspected different construction sites along National Highway-44 to resolve issue hindering in the pace of progress on the four lanning project.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Sharma, Project Director, NHAI, Parshotam Kumar, representatives of construction companies were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Representatives of executing agencies highlighted various bottlenecks and issues hindering the pace of progress including removal of acquired structures, cutting of trees, besides various other local issues.

After discussing issues with the concerned, the Deputy Commissioner issued necessary directions to executing agencies for speeding up the pace of construction work on National Highway to make Viaduct functional which will help to reduce vehicular traffic movement in town Ramban.
The DC directed the PD NHAI to implement all safety measures, terms and conditions mentioned in contract agreement while executing the project.
