During the campaign, Commandant IRP-20th BN Shri Baqar Samoon-JKPS advised to the officers/officials as well as Staff/students of the school & locals of the area that the Indian Flag be flown or displayed in houses and the main goal of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is to help people develop a personal connection with our country’s flag. He spoke about the history of Independence in the light of Dandi March of 12th March 1930 led by Mahatma Gandhi in which 78 participants started their march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi in Gujrat.
The purpose of the programme was to encourage the students/staff of the school as well as locals of the area to bring the Tiranga home & to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
