DDC Chairperson Ramban grieved over loss of precious lives in tragic road accident

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, JULY 24: Chairperson District Development Council Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan has expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident at Ramsoo.

She appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir  Sh. Manoj Sinha to provide ex-gratia relief of Rs. 5 Lakh each to the  families of deceased persons and direct the authorities  to provide best possible treatment to the injured.

“I am extremely pained by the loss of lives in the tragic incident. I offer my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured”,   Dr. Shan said.

The Chairperson informed that immediate relief of Rs. 25000 from Red  Cross  has been released in favour of injured persons by the Ramban Administration.
