Indian team won silver in Int’l Shooting Sports Federation held at Korea
JAMMU, JULY 17 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: India won a silver medal in the men’s 50 Meter rifle 3-position team event at the International Shooting Sports Federation Shooting World Cup on Sunday being held at Korea.
The trio of Chain Singh, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Sanjeev Singh clinched the silver medal in the men’s 3P team event. The Indian trio, which had finished second in the qualification stage, faced a strong Czech Republic team in the gold medal match. Despite putting up a strong fight, the Indians went down 12-16 to the trio of Petr Nymbursky, Filip Nepejchal, and Jiri Privratsky in the finals..

Notably this is the first World cup of this year for Olympic shooter Chain Singh producing contestant medals for the country. He is a gem of Jammu and Kashmir and an inspiration for the young generation of the UT.

RAMBAN, JULY 17 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr. Suresh, the Health Department on Sunday administered covid vaccine doses to 22 persons in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol, the Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, the Health Department has collected 1049 samples including 384 RT-PCR and 665 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 22 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
