DC Kulgam finalises arrangements for celebration of “Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya”

KULGAM, JULY 16 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today convened a meeting of officers to review and finalize arrangements for the celebration of Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya.

During the meeting, it was informed that KPDCL would organise a series of activities to showcase the achievements made in the power sector in the last 75 years (Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya Program) under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Two sites were selected for the events in this district where these celebrations will be held on July 25 and 27.

During the programme Nukkad Nataks, movies and cultural programmes will be organised to showcase the achievements in the sector.

The DC exhorted the officers and concerned quarters to work in close coordination for organizing these events smoothly.

The Meeting was attended by ADC, JD-Planning,  SE KPDCL, Executive Engineer STD wing, ACP, ACD, DIO NIC, CEO, DYS&SO, Senior Manager (HR) NHPC-HP Uri, AEEs from various wings of  KPDCL and other concerned.
