ASI killed, two others injured in Lal Bazar militant attack

Srinagar July 12 (PTK)An ASI was killed while as two other cops were injured after militants attacked a naka party in Lal Bazar area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.

An official said that three cops were injured after militants attacked a naka party in Lal Bazar.

He said that all injured policemen were shifted to hospital for treatment where one ASI namely Mushtaq Ahmad succumbed to injuries and two others are undergoing treatment and area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.

“Militants fired upon police naka party at Lal Bazar area of #Srinagar city. In this #terror incident, three police personnel got injured & they have been shifted to hospital. Area has been cordoned. Further details shall follow.” Kashmir Police Zone tweeted.
