Three boys drowned to death in Chenab river, one body recovered

Jammu June 15 (PTK) Three teenage boys drowned to death in Chenab river in Jammu division on Wednesday.

An official said that three boys who were attending a religious function on the eve of Parkashutsav in Akhnoor sub division area of Jammu district drowned following which massive rescue operation has been started.

He said that incident happened on Tuesday and Wednesday intervening night at Malpur Doomi in Akhnoor.

He identified the three persons who drowned as Labish (17), Ansh (13) and Manish Kumar (18).

He further added that so far one body has been recovered while as operation is on to find two more bodies. (PTK)
