IED detected, defused on Baramulla-Srinagar Highway

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:-An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found on Baramulla—Srinagar highway on Saturday at Putkha area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The explosive device lying by the roadside was detected following which bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called in.

Bomb was later defused by bomb disposal squad on and later traffic was restored on road which was halted as a precautionary measure.

A case in this regard has been registered and investigation has been taken up.:-PTK.
