Body fished out from river Jehleum in Bijbehara

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :  A male body has been fished out from river Jhelum at Zirpora area of Bijbehera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.

An official that body was spotted by locals who later on informed the police.

Later a police party reached the spot and recovered from river Jehlum at Zirpora, they said.

They later identified him as Showkat Ahmad from Lalan Gadool.

Police has registered a case and taken up investigation.:-PTK.
