Wild bear Caught alive in Handwara Village

Kupwara, 22 Jan (PTK) : A wild bear was caught alive by wildlife officials in Sirajpora Handwara area in north Kashmir’s kupwara district on early morning of saturday.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that locals of Sirajpora Handwara spotted a wild bear roaming in the residential area, posing threat to locals especially to children.

He said that after being informed by the locals, teams of wildlife department armed with necessary gadgets visited the area and captured the wild bear alive after hectic efforts this efforts .(PTK).
