SI Succumbs to injuries sustained in Khanyar militant attack

Srinagar, 12 September (PTK) : A Sub- Inspector of Jammu-and-Kashmir police succumbed to the injuries he sustained in khanyar militant attack on Sunday afternoon.

An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that an SI sustained bullet injuries after suspected militants fired upon a naka party in khanyar area.

Soon after the incident the injured sub-inspector identified as Arshid Ahmad a resident of Kupwara was rushed to nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.(PTK).
