Rs 6.57 Cr for macadamization of Karnah roads,DM inspects macadamization of roads in Karnah

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR | KUPWARA : Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather today visited various areas of Karnah sub division and took stock of 9 km road length from Taad-Dani to Prada and Pandoo to Surma Padi. The SDM accompanied by engineers of R&B, checked the quality of macadam being laid on the road.

On the occasion, the SDM was informed that Rs.6.57 crore are being spent on the macadamization of Taad-Dani road. The SDM asked the executive agencies to ensure the completion of all ongoing works in the sub division within the stipulated time frame.(PTK)

KULGAM, JUNE 21:The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today inspected several locations in  Kulgam Town and took stock of implementation of various COVID-19 related advisories and guidelines which also includes use of face masks, social distancing, rotational opening of business establishments etc.

The Deputy Commissioner visited Naikpora market, main market Kulgam, Qazigund adda market, hospital market etc.

During the visit it was observed that most of women are not wearing masks in market places and were appealed to adhere to SOPs and use face masks.

The DC also impressed upon service providers to follow all the guidelines and precautions in view of the pandemic.(PTK).
