Driver killed, helper injured in Leh road Mishap, ase under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khalsi Leh

Press trust of Kashmir | Leh : An LP Driver driver dies while his helper seriously injured on Srinagar-Leh highway road accident near Fotla Top Leh district during wee hours on Saturday.

An official said that LP truck bearing registration number JK01P/8724 on way from Ladakh to Srinagar met with an accident near Fotla Top Khalsi area of Leh and down into 200 ft deep gorge around 4 Am Today.

During the incident, the Driver driver died on spot while conducter got seriously injured in the mishap.

Police identified them as Muhammad Aslam Famda (30), Basharat Famda Sons of Abdul Gani Famda residents of Fraw Haknar Gund.

They said that the condition of the conductor was hospitalized for treatment .and source said that the condition is stable.

A police official said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khalsi Leh and further investigation has been taken up. (PTK)

 

Farooq Andrabi Visits 4-year-old Kid’s family killed in a leopard attack

‘Expressed solidarity on behalf of Apni Party with the bereaved family’

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR | SRINAGAR : On the direction of Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Apni Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi on Saturday visited the bereaved family members of the 4-year-old kid who was killed in a leopard attack at Housing Colony-Ompora.

In a statement issued here, Farooq Andrabi termed the incident as extremely unfortunate and heart-wrenching in which a young kid was mauled to death by a leopard in district Budgam.

“Our profound solidarity remains with the bereaved family for their irretrievable loss and we pray for eternal peace to the departed soul, who has left so early for the everlasting abode. May the Almighty bless her soul and grant patience to the grieved family in this time of despair,” he prayed.

Furthermore, Andrabi said that Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir and State General Secretary Vijay Bakaya also conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the grandfather of the deceased kid telephonically.

He also urged the wildlife department to devise an impeccable strategy in future for trapping such wild animals without adapting any negligent attitude towards complaints by the locals so that such ominous eventualities are averted.(PTK).
