1141 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 142877, Death toll rises 2046 with four new deaths

Srinagar April 15 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 1141 fresh positive cases of COVID and four new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 142877.

These cases include 434 from Jammu division and 707 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports three new deaths, while Jammu division reports one new death, taking the death toll to 2046 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 418 cases were reported from Srinagar, 136 from Baramulla, 25 from Budgam, 21 from Pulwama, 23 from Kupwara, 30 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 07, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 28, Shopian 06, Jammu 215, Udhampur 47, Rajouri 13, Doda 04, Kathua 29, Samba 13, Kishtwar 08, Poonch 09 Ramban 03 and Reasi 93.

Moreover, they said, 487 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 116 from Jammu division and 371 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
