CRPF man dies after falling from building in Shopian

Shopian April 15 (PTK) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper died when he fell down from a two-storey building in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official said that on Thursday morning a CRPF Assistant Sub Inspector named Shyam Singh of 178 Battalion posted in Reshipora Shopian fell down from a two-storey building resulting in critical injuries to him.

He was rushed to the Sher e Kashmir institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar for treatment, where the doctors declared him brought dead, the official said.

He said that investigation in this regard is going on. (PTK)
