517 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 131938, Death toll rises 2003 with five new deaths

Kishtwar, Poonch and Reasi reports no new cases

Srinagar April 02 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 517 fresh positive cases of COVID and five new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 131938.

These cases include 96 from Jammu division and 421 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports four new deaths, while Jammu division reports one new death, taking the death toll to 2003 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 173 cases were reported from Srinagar, 86 from Baramulla, 88 from Budgam, 04 from Pulwama, 12 from Kupwara 12 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 14, Ganderbal 09, Kulgam 21, Shopian 02, Jammu 62, Udhampur 01, Rajouri 07, Doda 06, Kathua 14, Samba 03 and Ramban 03.

Moreover, they said, 171 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 54 from Jammu division and 117 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
