Refusing signing BJP’s pact lead to fall of PDP-BJP government:- Mehbooba Says, Delhi has to solve K-issue through dialogue

Srinigar Dec 29 [PTK] : PDP president and former CM Mehboob mufti on Tuesday said that PDP-BJP govt falled in J&K after she refused to sign the pact of not handing over bodies of militants to their families and crack down against Jamaat-e-islami.

 

Addressing the party workers and DDC winning candidates at Srinagar, she said that we had joined hands with them just to cage to jin in a bottle and there was agreement special status won’t be touched and there will will be dialogue with hurriyat leaders and Pakistan, however, after they failed to implement their agenda, they decided to crumble the alliance.

 

A golden opportunity was lost when Hurriyat leaders shut their doors for the APD delegations, she said, adding that, BJP thought PDP is now over but recent elections proved that it is a movement and workers will keep it alive.

 

BJP is using tops agencies of country to suppress people who object their agenda and wrong doings, she said, adding that since last two months every worker of our party are intimidated and threatened besides that waheed who brought over 6000 youth to main stream has been linked in militancy related case.

 

She said that our party will continue to press for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue and we will continue to demand opening of traditional routes.

 

By scrapping special status, J&Ks economy has been choked, but whatever way BJP will use to choke us, we won’t bow before them, she said ( PTK)
