Monga condoles demise of Madan Lal Sharma
Srinagar, December 23 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) vice-presidents and former MLC G N Monga today condoled the demise of veteran party leader and two-time Member Parliament, Madan Lal Sharma, who passed away on Wednesday morning.
While expressing their condolences with the bereaved family, he said that Sharma served the party to the best of his ability all his life and his contributions for strengthening Congress party and people of Jammu and Kashmir are immense.
“I have known Sharma ji since Youth Congress days and had a long association with him. He was a dedicated Congress leader, who would always be at forefront to solve the problems of the people. His contributions as a politician and as a leader are immense,” Monga said and added in his death, the Congress has lost a prominent face in J&K.
In his condolence message Monga prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family. (PTK)
