257 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 118263

Death toll rises 1841 with 04 new deaths.

Kulgam and Reasi reports no new cases.

Srinagar Dec 20 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 257 fresh positive cases of COVID and 04 new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 118263.

These cases include 144 from Jammu division and 113 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that One more COVID patients died in Kashmir valley while Three from Jammu also died taking the death toll to 1841 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 36 cases were reported from Srinagar, 22 from Baramulla, 10 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 07 from Kupwara, 01 from Anantnag while Bandipora reported 08, Ganderbal 15, Shopian 11, Jammu 98, Rajouri 11, Udhampur 07, Doda 02, Kathua 13 ,Poonch 01 , Samba 08, Kishtwar 03, and Ramban 01

Moreover, they said, 475 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 246 from Jammu division and 229 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
