After fresh landslides Paddar Kishtawar, Doda Bhaderwah roads closed

Kishtawar Aug  29 (PTK) The road between Paddar and Kishtawar district headquarter and Doda and Bhaderwah in Chenab valley got closed on Thursday morning after fresh landslides amid heavy rainfall.

Officials said that on Thursday morning, amid rainfall, a portion of roadside land in Drudu slided resulting closure of road between Doda district headquarter and Bhaderwah sub division headquarter.

” The vehicular traffic is suspended and efforts are being made to restore the road.” said officials.

They added that the Paddar Kishtawar road in Kishtwar district of Chenab valley also got closed after a heavy land slide.

” Landslide have taken place at Naigar near Padiyarna resulting closure of road.” said officials.

On the other hand, Jammu Srinagar national highway 44 continues to remain close for third consecutive day on Thursday due to shooting stores at multiple places(PTK)
