After 21 weeks Friday Prayers offered at Jama Masjid Srinagar.
Srinagar August 21 (PTK) Friday prayers were held at the historic Jamia Masjid located in the volatile downtown area of Srinagar for the first time after 21 weeks after the lockdown was imposed in the area.
For remaining closed for continuous 21 weeks, Friday prayers were held in which hundreds of people participated.
Pertinently government had closed all religious places after covid-19 cases were reported in Kashmir in March this year.
Pertinently Jammia remained closed for 19 consecutive Fridays after abrogation of article 370(PTK)
