Three militant associates held in Kupwara: Army

Kupwara August 11 (PTK) Army on Tuesday morning claimed to have arrested three militant associates from lalpora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.

Army in a tweet said that a joint operation was launched late yesterday evening on Police inputs at Lalpora Kupwara and during the search three suspected were apprehended along with amrs and ammunition.

The army in its tweet further said , One AK 47 and 2 pistols with magazines and ammunition were recovered form their possession.

Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed the arrest of three suspects along with arms and ammunition.

The officer said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation is underway.(PTK)
