Three more deaths reported in Kashmir, toll reaches 143

SRINAGAR JULY (PTK)Three more deaths related to Covid-19 were reported in Kashmir valley on Tuesday, taking the toll of total deaths related to Covid-19 to 143 in Jammu and Kashmir.

The three deaths include a 60 year old lady from Kunzar Baramulla, 78 year old lady from Khrew Pulwama and 65 year old lady from Noorbagh Srinagar.

Dr Saleem Tak, Medical Superintendent at CD hospital said that a lady from Kunzar who was admitted on July 03 and was kept on ventilator died at CD hospital on Tuesday morning

Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyak Mohiudin said that an aged lady from Khrew area of Pampore died at SMHS and was tested positive for Covid-19.

Dr Nazir Choudary medical superintendent at SMHS said tha a 65 year old lady from SMHS who was admitted in triage ward of Smhs on Tuesday where she sccumbed her last breath.

He said that she was suffering from bilateral pneumonia and the Covid19 swab was taken which came positive after her death.

With two more deaths, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 143 including 129 from Kashmir and 14 from Jammu division
