DM Ganderbal issues notification for imposition of restrictions in view of Covid-19

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK)District magistrate Ganderbal has issued an notification for imposition of restrictions under the Epidemic Diseases Act 1897.

“Whereas the Government of Jammu & Kashmir vide its order No. 65-JK (DMRRR) of 2020 dated: 03/07/2020 has made classification of the districts where under district Ganderbal has been classified as Red Zone; and Whereas, it is now inevitable to take efficacious steps in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and break the transmission chain of the virus. Therefore, in view of above, I Shafqat Iqbal (KAS), District Magistrate Ganderbal, in exercise of powers vested in me under the Epidemic Diseases Act,
1897, the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and under Section 144 CrPc, do
hereby order that:

a) Shops and establishments of district Ganderbal shall operate as per following schedule till further orders:

Vegetable/Fruit/ Nanwaie(Traditional Baker)/ Baby
Food(s)/ Mutton/Poultry/Hotels/Restaurants for

fertilizers
Groceries/Kiryana/Bookshops/Stationary/Handicrafts
/Handlooms

Wednesday
Thursday.
Friday&
Saturday 09:00 a.m to 07:00 p.m
Hardware/Furniture/Furnishing/Building Materials

Beauty Parlours/ Saloons/ Boutiques /Others

b) Only those shops mentioned hereinabove shall be permitted on the schedule/timings ziven having arrangements /spacing for physical distancing
No parking shall be allowed on Roads except designated/notified parking places.
d Wearing masks and physical distancing shall be mandatory.
It is strongly advised for all the shopkeepers to dawnload Aarogya-Setu mobile app on their mobile phones and follow the SOP in letter & spirit.

Any violation of this order by any person shall invite punitive action under the
