SRINAGAR JUNE(PTK)Sindh Forest Division carries anti-encroachment drive in Gutlibagh Ganderbal.

Following the instructions of Divisional Forest Officer Sindh, Ganderbal Mr Ovais Farooq Mir, joint teams of Territorial Forest department and Forest Protection Force, headed by Range Officer Manasbal retrieved 4 Hectares of encroached Forest Land which was under cultivation in Compartment 40 of Gutlibagh Manasbal.

The team faced stiff resistance from encroachers who have raised maize crop on the land. DFO Sindh in a statement has issued warning to encroachers to desist from such activities.

He further asserted such drives will be continued in future as well.(PTK)
