Covid-19:- 65 year old man from Baramulla tested positive a day after his death, toll rises to 27
SRINAGAR MAY (PTK) A 65 year old man from Baramulla district who died at SMHS a day before was tested positive at for covid-19 on Thursday.
An official saif that a elderly man from Khanpora Baramulla died at SMHS on Wednesday after which samples were taken for covid-19 testing.
His body was kept in GMC mortuary and his reports came positive for covid-19 on Thursday, official said, adding that he was having underlying problems.
Nodal officer for covid-19 at GMC Srinagar Dr Salim Khan said that a 55 years old male from Khanpora, Baramulla was referred from GMC Hospital Baramulla with fever, respiratory distress on Wednesday to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
He said that patient expired within hours of admission and samples were tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday
With his death, the death toll of covid-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 27 including 24 from Kashmir division and 03 from Jammu division
