Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah express grief over demise of party veteran Ghulam Qadir Najar
“He was a noble soul; his contribution to party will always be remembered”
Party leaders, functionaries pay tributes to departed soul
Srinagar, 15 April(PTK): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday expressed sorrow over the demise of partrty veteran, former caretaker of Party Headquarters at Mujahid Manzil and Nawa- e- Subha Complex, Alhaj Ghulam Qadir Najar of Takaya Behram Shah, Wanpoo Anantnag.
Party President while expressing his grief said, “Najar Sahib was an altruistic soldier of the party. It is indeed an immeasurable loss for the party. It goes without saying how important a role he played in managing, and overseeing the party offices. Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel on the passing away of Najar Sahib, May Almighty grant him highest echelons of the Jannat Ul Firdous. I pray for strength to the mournful family to bear the inconsolable loss. I also express my solidarity with the mournful family in their hour of grief.”
Omar Abdullah while condoling the demise of Najar said, “he had the privilege to work under party’s tallest leaders. He played an extremely important and fundamental role in overseeing and managing the party offices. He shall be remembered for his self-sacrificing service towards the party. It is indeed an irreparable loss for the party. I pray for peace to the soul of departed and much needed strength to the mournful family.”
Meanwhile party’s district president Anantnag Altaf Ahmad Kaloo also extended condolences to the mournful family on their bereavement. They offered Fatiha for the deceased and prayed for peace to his soul.
Among others who have condoled the demise of Alhaj Ghulam Qadir Najar include additional general secretary Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, Mian Altaf Ahmad, AR Rather, Mohammad Shafi Uri, Hasnain Masoodi, Mohd Akbar Lone, Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzaan, Pirzada Ahmad Shah, Shameema Firdous, Sakina Ittoo, Dr Bashir Veeri, Irfan Shah, Showkat Ahmad Mir, Abdul Majeed Larmi, Peer Afaq Ahmad, Altaf Ahmad Kaloo, Imran Nabi Dar, Salman Ali Sagar, Ahsan Pardesi, Sara Hayat Shah, Dr Ghulam Nabi Bhat. Party functionaries have prayed for peace to the soul of deceased and strength to the mournful family.(PTK)
