Forces launch CASO in Pulwama Village

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Government forces on Monday Afternoon launched cordon and search operation in Astan Mohallah Achan  Area In South Kashmir Pulwama District

Sources informed the PTK a joint team of government forces including Army’s 55RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF cordoned off all the area

Sources informed the PTK that the cordon-and-search operation launched in the area after receiving input about presence of militants in the area.

He said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.

Local sources told that huge contingents of forces have been deployed in the area and there was no exchange of gunfire when this report was being filed.
