Altaf Thakur expresses gratitude to people for participating in the electoral process

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The state spokesperson, BJP, Altaf Thakur has expressed his gratitude to the people of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district ,who amidst boycott and threat went to cast their vote.

Thakur said the people’s participation in the parliamentary elections is self-explanatory that people want to be part of the democratic exercise. “People have paid no heed to boycott. They have voted on their own.

Assembly elections are due, we hope that people would come out to vote in larger numbers, just like they did in these elections,” he said.

He also expressed gratitude to Election Commission of India(ECI),Police and other agencies involved in poll process for smooth conduct of the elections. (PTK)
