DSEK ordered to create Whatsapp groups of parents in every school

SRINAGAR, JAN 31 (PTK): School Education Department of Kashmir on Thursday ordered all heads of the schools is enjoined upon to create Whatsapp groups of parents in every school.

According to the order issued by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), the school heads shall act as admin of these groups and are advised to share all the academic/nonacademic activates on these groups so that parents are made well aware about the activates of the school.

Order further reads “the school heads are also stressed upon to update the parents with day to day activates, performance, attendance of their wards through these Whatsapp groups for their information and prompt intervention, wherever required.

Besides, they shall create school websites and upload all relevant information on this for the benefit of stakeholders. (PTK)
