DC Ganderbal flags off Exposure-cum-Sports Tour for Children with Special Needs.

GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 28(PTK): Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shreya Singhal, today flagged off a one-day exposure-cum-sports tour for 40 Children with Special Needs (CWSN) under the Inclusive Education component of Samagra Shiksha from the lawns of the Mini Secretariat Complex, Ganderbal.

The tour, accompanied by escort teachers and the dedicated Inclusive Education Team of District Ganderbal, would take the students to the archaeological site of Burzahama and Bagh-e-Gul Dawood in Srinagar, providing them with opportunities for experiential learning, recreational activities and social interaction beyond the classroom.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC highlighted the importance of inclusive education and educational exposure in the holistic development of children with special needs. She expressed hope that the visit would help the students build confidence, strengthen peer relationships, develop social skills and create lasting memories through shared experiences.(PTK)
